Mini Sephora Haul *VICE 3 and Give Me Some Lip*

Hello beauties! I tried, I REALLY tried not to purchase the new Urban Decay Vice 3 limited edition eyeshadow palette, but it's just no use.... I'm a makeup addict, and I gave in. This palette has some really pigmented colors and some that aren't so pigmented, but would work really well as inner corner or blending/crease shades.

I've swatched the colors for you by row, going left to right in the palette.

Row 1 (from the left)  Truth, Undone, Downfall, DTF

Row 2 (from the left) Dragon, Freeze, Heroine, Broke down

Row 3 (from the left) Vanity, Lucky, Reign, Bobby Dazzle

Row 4 (from the left) Alien, Alchemy, Bondage, Sonic

Row 5 (from the left) Last Sin, Angel, Defy, Revolver

I have really enjoyed playing around with these colors! You can be quite the artist using this palette and create endless looks to fit your mood for the day! The shadows are a little dusty and you have some fall out but it's not horrible. The shadows are very soft and blendable. I must say that I'm happy I took the plunge and purchased this one! If you are on the fence, I say DO IT! Remember it's limited edition, so it won't be around forever.

Next up is the Sephora Give Me Some Lip limited edition box.  It contains one full size product and several deluxe size samples of lip product. Each product is from a different cosmetic line allowing you the opportunity to try them all before going out and spending a lot of money on something you may not like.

-Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss in the color Pout
-Marc Jacobs Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl in the color Kissability
-NARS Lip Gloss in the color Orgasm.
-Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in the color White Russian
-Urban Decay Lipstick in the color Naked
-Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in the color Meritage

I really like all the items in this box! It's a total score for me. I've been wanting to try some of the cult favs and now I have that opportunity. The box is $25 and I purchased mine online at Sephora.  This box would be a really nice Christmas gift for the makeup lover in your life.

I hope this information and the swatches were helpful to you.  If you have any questions, please comment below! Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for an "empties" post later this week!

It's almost Halloween...what mask will you wear?

Glamglow of course!!

I recently starting using Glamglow Youth Mud after a friend recommended I try it. I LOVE it! It's honestly the best mask I've used in quite awhile!

It's a gentle exfoliator, helps to even out skin tone, and the best part...it works with all skin types! Your skin tingles slightly after applying. There is a scent, but it's slight, and not over powering. I find that my skin is more radiant after use.

The jar pictured isn't full size. It's a travel or try me size (0.5 oz for $19) that I picked up at Sephora after the product was recommended to me because the full size (1.7 oz for $69) and it wasn't in my budget at the time.

Glamglow Mud started it's life as a 10 minute "facial in a jar" for those in the entertainment industry who needed a quick fix after being on set for so many hours of shooting movies, TV, videos, etc.

There are several options in the line from which you may choose. Youthmud, Powermud, Supermud, Thirstymud, Brightmud, and even treatments specifically for your delicate eye area.

If you haven't tried Glamglow I would say give it a try!

Stay tuned for a Sephora haul post coming this weekend! Urban Decay Vice 3 palette pics and swatches!

WEN Obsessed!

Have you tried WEN cleansing conditioners? Or any of the other products from the line? As you can see from the picture above, I'm a little obsessed.  I purchased quite a bit of it when QVC had a set as the TSV a month or so ago. I posted this pic to my Instagram account (conyeah02) and it got reposted by @wenbychazdean yesterday! Woot!

Let me tell you about my hair.  It's very fine and oily, always has been. My mother and father have very fine hair so I was blessed with that as well. I've tried to wear my hair longer but it always looked very stringy and had no body at all. Therefore, I've kept it short most of my life.

I had been avoiding anything heavy, such as conditioners, oils, etc. because everything I tried weighed my hair down signifigantly. I had seen @chazdean on QVC presenting WEN many, many times, but was always afraid to try it. One day, there was a 6 piece set on easy pay (LOVE that easy pay option) and I jumped in with both feet!

Once I received the box, I immediately wanted to try it. I knew from the presentations that this formula wasn't anything like "normal" shampoo.  I did not anticipate how thick the formula was and that it would feel like putting a large amount of hand cream on my hair. I freaked out a little, but continued with the cleansing, rinse and repeat. Following all the directions given, I found, honestly, with ONE use my hair was different.  I LOVE this stuff and won't ever be without it as long as I can help it!

If you are on the fence, I say DO IT! I'm only 5 months in, but I promise my hair looks better than ever. I must also say that I use not only the cleansing conditioner, but the oils, remoist (like a mask for your hair), replenishing treatment mist, styling cream, mousse, and volumizing treatment spray.

Oh...and new to the WEN line is WEN for MEN! I must admit that I ordered this for ME. I haven't received it yet, but when I do, I'll be able to do a review on that one too!

I hope that this helped you out a little if you've been considering trying WEN. Stay tuned for a review on Glamglow Mud coming soon!

Do you BZZ?

Hello and Welcome to my brand new blog! I'm really excited to share with you my thoughts and opinions on all things beauty! Please feel free to leave comments if you've tried any of the products I blog about or if you have any questions!

Have you heard about www.bzzagent.com?  If you haven't, please go check it out. I signed up to be a BzzAgent and was recently fortunate enough to be a part of the Kroger Beauty Bath and Body Care campaign. I was sent several items, a shower pouf, a soft bristled nail brush, some makeup removing wipes, two face cleansing sponges, lots of coupons to share with family and friends, AND two coupons for free body wash and lotion.

My experience with these wipes was not a good one. The packaging clearly says "removes all traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara". Unfortunately, these wipes did not remove ALL my makeup (and I was NOT wearing waterproof anything). I had to end up cleansing with my usual cleaner after using these wipes. Not cost effective or time saving.  Don't get me wrong, they did remove about 90 percent of my makeup as you can see in the photo. My biggest problem with these wipes was the fact that I had to really wipe with pressure on my eye area. At my age, the last thing I need to do is tug at the skin around my eyes!!

As for the @Kroger Beauty Moisture Lotion and Nourish Body Wash (#GotItForFree #bzzagent #bzzcampaigns) I love them both! The lotion is a thin formula very similiar to Vaseline Intensive Care lotions. I like that the scent is very light, so that it won't interfere with your body sprays, perfumes, etc. The body wash is similar to Dove body washes, but not quite as thick, in my opinion. You get lots of bubbles and it feels nourishing on the skin. Both bottles are VERY generous and will last awhile!

I'm looking forward to the next campaign!

Well, that's all for now folks! I'll be back soon to talk about some makeup and hair care!
